Waitstaff

Magazzino is looking for FT Waitstaff to work in their Cafe Silvia, located in their Robert Olnick Pavilion!

Main responsibilities may include:

• Clean cafe areas: buss tables, mop floors and wash some dishes and utensils.
• Ensure the dining room is perfect always by clearing and resetting tables after guests leave
• Deliver food and beverages to customers
• Help provide refills on water as needed and removing used tableware between courses.
• Ensure spills are cleaned up quickly with as little disturbance to the guest as possible.
• Ensure health, safety, security, and sanitation standards meet company guidelines;
• Receive food and supplies;
• Respond sincerely and appropriately to guest requests & concerns, and communicate to appropriate staff as necessary.
• Thank guests when leaving and inquire about their experience.

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Exhibit respectful, courteous, and friendly communication with guests at all times
• Ensure familiarity with daily menu to answer guest questions
• Assist in managing daily inventory and restocking supplies in café back-of-house
• Act as cashier when needed
• Check floor/restrooms and clean as needed
• Gain knowledge of the museum to provide accurate information to guests.
• Be flexible during the shift to help out where needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the café.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
