Sentara Family Medicine Physicians is currently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant - Phlebotomy and Lab Services in Lorton, VA! Up to a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for Qualified Candidates

Job Summary:

• 95% lap support
• Full-time / 40 hours a week
• Monday through Friday
• Shift Time: 8am to 4:30pm
• No float required
• Onsite at Lorton practice

Overview:

The Certified Medical Assistant - Phlebotomy and Lab Services performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Experience:

• Less than a year of related experience required
• Phlebotomy experience highly preferred

Education:

• High School Diploma OR equivalency required

Active Certification:

Must have one of the following on the first day of employment:

• Certified Medical Assistant
• Registered Medical Assistant
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
• Certified EMT (EMT-B)

BLS within 90 days of hire date
