Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery About The Job The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery participates in high‑ and low‑risk intrapartum and antepartum care and receives women transferred for high‑risk complications of pregnancy. What You’ll Do Embrace and promote change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment. Involve patient/family in goal setting and planning, and communicate that plan of care to patient and family for input; and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings. Utilize current evidence and relevant national/specialty standards to guide practice and performance and identify areas for improvement. Demonstrate competent clinical practice utilizing clinical decision‑making and critical‑thinking skills.
