Solution Architect in Enterprise Data Management- BFSI

Work as a Senior Solution Architect in Enterprise Data Management space as part of the Digital Transformation Services Team dedicated to the BFSI US West ISU Clients, providing deep expertise in the specific technology area towards growth and enablement by supporting the Sales and Delivery Teams

Responsibilities:

• Executing consulting engagements – defining Strategy, Target State Blueprint, Detailed Solution/Technical Architecture, and related implementation roadmap in the area of Enterprise Data Management, Data Governance, Cloud based Data Management & Analytics
• Supporting proposals in data management space – solution architecture, estimations, implementation plan, dependencies, risks & mitigation, and defense presentations
• Developing and sharing Point of Views in Data & Analytics areas, proactively and in-response to specific client requirements
• Supporting key strategic data and analytics engagements in Architect capacity, in advisory or dedicated mode as required

Qualifications:

• At least one of the below:
• Expertise in data lake implementation, in-premise or preferably on cloud (AWS/GCP), leveraging technologies such as Spark (AWS EMR, AWS Glue, GCP DataFlow, GCP DataProc etc) for processing and storage technologies such as AWS S3, GCP Cloud Storage etc.
• Expertise in cloud-based data warehouse solution implementation/ migration based on Snowflake, AWS Redshift, GCP Big Query, Azure Synapse Analytics (SQL Data Warehouse) and data processing solutions like spark, Informatica, Talend etc.
• Expertise with streaming solutions, in-premise or preferably on cloud (AWS/GCP), leveraging messaging and processing technologies such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Azure Event Hub, GCP Pub/Sub, Spark Streaming, Apache Fink, Apache Beam and NoSQL storage technologies such as Datastax Cassandra, MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB, Elastic Search etc.
• Deep understanding of data management and governance concepts and solutions – layered data-warehouse/ data lake/hybrid architecture, ETL framework (audit, balance & control, scheduling, logging and monitoring), Data Modeling (dimensional, data vault), Data Quality, Business Glossary/Metadata Management/Data Cataloging, Data Lineage, Data Security & Privacy, Data Governance and Stewardship frameworks
• Understanding of Agile and DevOps concepts/ methodology, processes, and solutions
• Familiarity with Cloud Foundational concepts – identity and access management, scheduling/orchestration (AWS Step Functions, airflow, GCP Cloud Composer), logging/monitoring, serverless functions, data security & encryption, DevOps etc.
• Familiarity/ Experience in any one of the programming languages – Python, Java, Scala
• Years of experience required for position – More than 15 years
