Position Summary
The Level 2 IT Support Technician will provide remote and onsite technical support to business clients. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge equivalent to CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+, along with entry-level experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory environments.
We are seeking a responsible, dependable, and high-energy individual who can work independently, take ownership of tasks, and continuously learn new technologies. Responsibilities
- Provide remote and onsite technical support for business clients
- Troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems
- Configure and support desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Create, modify, disable, and troubleshoot user accounts in Active Directory
- Support Microsoft 365 services including:
- Exchange Online
- Outlook
- OneDrive
- Teams
- SharePoint
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving:
- TCP/IP
- DNS
- vLANs
- Subnets
- DHCP
- Wireless networking
- VPN connectivity
- Install and configure software applications
- Assist with workstation deployments and upgrades
- Maintain documentation and ticket notes
- Follow cybersecurity best practices and security policies
- Escalate advanced issues when necessary while maintaining ownership of client communication
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent knowledge to:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- Minimum 1-3 years of IT support experience
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments
- Basic Active Directory administration experience
- Understanding of networking fundamentals
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional customer service attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA certifications (A+, Network+, Security+)
- Experience with:
- Microsoft 365 Administration
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Meraki Networking
- Backup and Disaster Recovery Platforms
- Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools
