Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Current certification or eligibility for certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB)
• Active and unrestricted state license (if applicable)
• Recent hospital-based experience in nuclear medicine imaging preferred
• Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation, quality control, and radiation safety procedures
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout exams
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, performing quality control checks and troubleshooting as needed
• Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and adhere to regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other technologists for optimal patient outcomes
• Provide clear explanations to patients and address any concerns
