Marketing Liaison - Part-Time Marketing & Social Media

Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Approximately 10-20 hours per week
Location: Hybrid - Bayonne, NJ / Staten Island, NY area
Compensation: $22-$28 per hour, based on experience

Help Build Our Local Brand

Our State Farm independent contractor agency is looking for a creative, organized Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to help grow our presence online and in the communities we serve.

This is a part-time, flexible hybrid position for someone who understands social media, enjoys creating engaging content, and is comfortable representing a local business in the community.

You will have the opportunity to help shape our social media presence, create content, promote our team and customers, and support local events and partnerships.

What You'll Do

• Create and coordinate content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
• Develop short-form videos, Reels, photos, graphics, and written social content
• Maintain a consistent social media content calendar
• Capture content featuring our team, office, customers, and community involvement
• Monitor engagement and help grow our social media audience
• Identify content ideas, trends, and local marketing opportunities
• Help plan and promote community events, sponsorships, and partnerships
• Attend occasional local events in Bayonne and Staten Island
• Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations
• Track basic social media performance and marketing results

What We're Looking For

• Experience with social media, marketing, content creation, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and short-form video content
• Creative eye for engaging photos, videos, graphics, and copy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and able to manage projects independently
• Comfortable appearing in or helping direct social media content
• Familiarity with basic photo/video editing tools is a plus
• Able to occasionally attend local events, including some evenings or weekends

Insurance experience is not required .

Students, recent graduates, freelancers, and marketing professionals looking for a flexible part-time opportunity are encouraged to apply if they have relevant skills or examples of their work.

Compensation & Schedule

• $22-$28 per hour , based on experience
• Approximately 10-20 hours per week

• Combination of remote work, occasional office content sessions, and local events

This role serves our Bayonne, NJ and Staten Island, NY markets , so candidates should live within reasonable traveling distance of both areas.
