Job Description Job Description Fixed Asset Accountant About the Opportunity This is a growth-driven accounting role tied directly to a surge in capital projects and expansion across the business. You'd be stepping into a high-visibility position supporting a rapidly scaling environment with increasing asset volume and complexity. It's less about routine accounting and more about analysis and ownership-evaluating capitalization decisions, supporting lease accounting, and partnering closely with operations and project teams . This is a strong opportunity for someone coming out of audit or corporate accounting who wants broader exposure, technical depth, and the ability to grow within a fast-paced organization. What You'll Do Support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization and depreciation Evaluate transactions for proper classification under GAAP (ASC 360) Manage lease accounting activities under ASC 842 Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis Support month-end close in a fast-paced environment Partner with operations, construction, and accounting teams Assist with audit requests and SOX-related documentation Identify opportunities for process improvements What We're Looking For Strong accounting foundation with 2-4 years of experience Exposure to fixed assets, CapEx, or lease accounting Understanding of US GAAP; ASC 842 experience is a plus Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a high-growth, evolving environment Why This Role Stands Out High-growth company with increasing capital investment Exposure to complex accounting areas (leases + fixed assets) Strong visibility to leadership and cross-functional teams Opportunity to take ownership and grow with the business If you're looking for a role with more visibility, technical exposure, and the chance to grow within a scaling environment, this is a great opportunity to explore.
