Sitter Wanted - Part Time Caregiver Needed For Sweet 5 Year Old Child With Autism

After-School Caregiver Needed for 5-Year-Old Child with Autism We are seeking a reliable, patient, and compassionate caregiver to provide after-school transportation for our 5-year-old son with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Responsibilities:

Pick up child from school and transport him safely home.
Provide attentive supervision during transportation.
Ensure a safe, calm, and positive ride home each day.

Schedule: Monday–Friday

School pickup at 4:00 PM
Transport child directly home (approximately 10.4 miles / 20-minute drive)

Position Details:

This is an ongoing, long-term position during the school year.
Our son attends a year-round school, so there will be scheduled school breaks and holidays when transportation will not be needed. We will provide advance notice of any days off.

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Clean driving record
Experience working with children, preferably children with autism or special needs
Dependable, punctual, patient, and compassionate
Comfortable communicating with parents regarding pickups and any concerns

Our son is loving, energetic, and nonverbal. He does not have behavioral issues in the car and does well during transportation.
