Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Licensed Clinical Social Worker Discipline: Social Work Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings Employment Type: Travel Mental Health Therapist (LICSW, LPCC, or LPC) needed for a 13-week travel contract at a correctional facility in Appleton, MN. Seven openings. Days, 8-hour shifts, first or second shift, 40 hours per week. W-2 employment with a weekly tax-free housing and meals stipend for candidates who qualify. Weekly package: $44.75/hr base plus $1,246/week stipend, about $3,036/week. You will conduct mental health screenings and assessments, develop and update individual treatment plans, provide counseling and crisis intervention, and document care for an incarcerated population. Requirements: Active, unrestricted LICSW, LPCC, or LPC in Minnesota (no supervision requirement). LMFT is not accepted for this facility. Out-of-state LCSW/LPC/LPCC may be considered while Minnesota licensure is in process; ask us. Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field Five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable role Current BLS (attestation accepted at submission) US citizenship (required for federal facility clearance) Ability to pass a federal background check, credit check, and fingerprinting Clearance takes roughly 2 to 4 weeks after offer. Candidates who respond quickly at each step start fastest. Independent clinical license required (LICSW, LPCC, or LPC); LMFT not accepted at this site. Stipend eligibility requires a permanent tax home more than 70 miles from the facility. Federal facility clearance (2 to 4 weeks) follows offer acceptance. Extensions are common.
