Our client in Alma, MI, is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: ALMA, MI

Pay Range: $18.85 an hour

Shift: 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday overtime can be scheduled until 4:30 pm and Saturdays could be mandated

What's the Job?

• Inspect each boat coming off the assembly line to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications
• Review order-specific job travelers and engineered drawings for accuracy
• Photograph each boat and compile daily production reports detailing production and quality issues
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, supporting continuous improvement efforts

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED REQUIRED
• Computer skills and familiarity with inspection documentation a must
• Attention to detail and visual judgment to identify errors or defects
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with variable hours
