Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP department, supporting interventional cardiology procedures and patient monitoring. Ensure high-quality, efficient patient care aligned with clinical standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Operate and assist with complex cardiac equipment and interventions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
• Administer medications and manage patient comfort during interventions.
• Document procedure details, patient responses, and clinical observations accurately.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting.
• Be CPR and ACLS certified.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring and invasive procedures.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
