CAD DESIGNER

Contract / Contract- Hire

We are seeking a talented and creative CAD Designer to join our dynamic team in Elkhart, IN on a **6 month contract **with potential for full time. As a CAD Designer, you will play a crucial role in transforming ideas into detailed technical drawings and designs that meet our clients' needs. If you have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings based on project specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members and clients.
Maintain accurate documentation of design changes and project progress.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD software and design techniques.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
Participate in team meetings to discuss project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in CAD design, engineering technology, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
