Production Assembler

As a Production Assembler, you will be responsible for factory assembly work as well as delivering and installing sports equipment at various customer locations, including stadiums, gyms, training facilities, and other venues. This role requires assembling and setting up equipment according to product specifications and customer needs, ensuring safety and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform factory assembly work when not scheduled off site.
  • Deliver and install sports equipment at customer locations, including stadiums, gyms, training facilities, and other venues.
  • Assemble and set up equipment according to product specifications and customer needs.
  • Ensure all equipment is installed safely and properly, adhering to company and industry standards.
  • Provide on-site customer support, answering questions and addressing concerns during installation.
  • Inspect delivered items to ensure quality and completeness before installation.
  • Perform minor repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed.
  • Work closely with the logistics and customer service teams to schedule deliveries and installations.
  • Maintain tools and equipment needed for installation in good working order.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols during transportation, delivery, and installation.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools to assemble wood to equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures while performing assembly tasks.
  • Ability to read and understand diagrams or blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to effectively use a tape measure.

Work Environment:

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. You will be working with various tools and equipment, and the role may require travel to different venues for installations.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincolnton, NC.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
