Job Description
Join an esteemed outpatient clinic in Seattle, Washington, as a Hematology Oncology provider on a Locum Tenens assignment. This role involves full-time coverage with responsibilities in both clinical practice and occasional inpatient call duties. The position offers a balanced schedule of weekday clinic hours and limited weekend commitments, while providing essential care to hematology and oncology patients.

- Setting: Outpatient Clinic and some Inpatient
- Start Date: October 1, 2026 (can start earlier if privileges are issued sooner)
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with call rotation
- Patient Population: Adult
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates
- Weekly direct deposit
- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
- Supportive credentialing assistance
- Lodging and mileage reimbursement
- Flexible scheduling
- Provide comprehensive care to hematology and oncology patients
- Manage outpatient clinic schedules and patient encounters effectively
- Participate in night and weekend call rotations for established patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Active WA license or eligible for IMLC
- Board Certified in Hematology Oncology
- Experience with lymphoma and cell therapy is a plus
- BLS certification required
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- On-call for 1-2 nights per week and occasional weekends
- Expertise in hematology and oncology patient management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
- Proficient in handling complex cases with compassion and efficacy
