Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour. Sign‑on bonus available for qualifying applicants. Department: Emergency Department Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours per Week: 36 Shift: Full‑Time Night Shift (7 p‑7 a) Location: Atrium Health Pineville Emergency Department is a high‑acuity facility that sees patients of all ages and is a primary stroke & STEMI center with 35 treatment rooms, three resuscitation rooms, six holding rooms, a 4‑bay triage area, and imaging services. Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. You will use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to create the safest patient environment and enhance the patient experience. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program. At least 6 months of RN experience (this position is not for new graduates). Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire. Preferred: 1 year of inpatient RN experience.
