Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited nursing school; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC); 1 year of nursing experience, with at least 2 years recent experience on a PCU unit taking cardiac patients. Preferred Qualifications: BSN or MSN from an accredited nursing school. Additional Information: Provide patient-centered care by assessing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs. Participate in evaluating patient outcomes, developing care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Utilize healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures in care delivery. Demonstrate competence in caring for patients with complex problems, including performing bedside point of care testing. Prioritize tasks and coordinate discharge planning effectively. Participate in performance improvement activities and promote a safe hospital environment.
