About This Position Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods, procedures and standards. Under minimum supervision, utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. May occasionally be requested to float to other Family Medicine clinics to assist in covering patient load. Required Qualifications Vocational/Technical Certification as Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nursing (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) At least six (6) months previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience. Certifications, Registrations, And/or Licenses Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of OK by an accredited school of nursing/medical assisting. Current CPR certification Valid Driver's License Skills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge Skill in delivery of patient care and procedures - Medication administration Triage experience Direct patient care Knowledge of medical terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Computer literacy required Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required Referral/authorization experience required #J-18808-Ljbffr
