Overview Medical Assistant – Schaumburg – Pain Management Full‑time; 40 hours/week Hours: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm Location: Schaumburg; Bloomingdale on Wednesdays Travel: Expected to travel to other sites as needed Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance Access to a mental health benefit at no cost Employer‑provided life and disability insurance $5,250 tuition reimbursement per year Immediate 401(k) match 40 hours paid volunteer time off Culture committed to community engagement and social impact Up to 12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay Financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non‑physician team members once eligibility requirements are met Responsibilities Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing Conduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests Maintain clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Completion of a medical assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required For specialties such as Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, active medical‑assistant certification through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, or AAMA may be required CPR certification or willingness to become certified upon hire required May require phlebotomy certification completed within 90 days of hire Prior experience as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience in a medical office assisting with patient care Prior experience using an electronic medical record preferred College graduates from a health sciences program interested in gaining patient care experience and pursuing a career in healthcare are welcome to apply Compensation The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43–23.63 for a Medical Assistant; for Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97–24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
