Shift: Nights. This travel assignment involves providing advanced nursing care in a home health setting, performing as both caregiver and care manager. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process, while coordinating and supervising care by other caregivers as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to assigned home health patients, applying assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Document patient data in EMR or paper records per policy and regulatory requirements.
- Identify learning needs of patients/significant others and provide education aligned with policies and care plans.
- Delegate and supervise care activities for assigned team members; function as a care manager to ensure safe, effective care delivery.
- May serve as Charge Nurse, including coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers; arranging staff coverage; problem-solving; and leading unit efforts.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and equipment standards; communicate professionally with patients, families, and the care team; uphold organizational standards in appearance and conduct.

Requirements
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification within 30 days of hire (AHA or equivalent).
- ICU experience preferred; acute care RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments; minimum of one year RN experience preferred for specialty units.
- Certifications: ACLS within 6 months of hire; PALS within 12 months; TNCC within 12 months; PEARS within 12 months; Moderate sedation training within 12 months; RN-C preferred.
- Ability to work in a home healthcare travel setting and travel as required by the assignment.
