Job Overview:Our organization is in search of a committed Director of Patient Care to oversee the Outpatient Infusion Department, which includes Pharmacy, Clerical, and Clinical Staff (RN and Clinical Care Technicians).

Qualifications:- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Current RN Licensure in New Jersey is mandatory.
- BLS certification is required (American Heart Association).
- Preferred managerial experience of one to three years, though not mandatory; one to two years of experience in the specialty is required, depending on unit needs. Evidence of professional development over time (e.g., national certification, continuing education) is expected.
- National Certification is preferred.
- Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.
- The Director will be fully accountable for the leadership, performance, and daily operations of the Outpatient Infusion Department, ensuring the provision of consistent, high-quality patient care through a combination of hands-on involvement and leading by example.
- This role collaborates with the Regional Director, Medical Directors, and Hospital Leadership to achieve the Center's program goals, ensuring optimal healing outcomes, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Oversees the daily management of the Outpatient Infusion Department.
- Continuously evaluates current outpatient center workflows, processes, and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance outcomes.
- Ensures the availability of necessary resources, supplies, equipment, and services.
- Conducts interviews for potential staff and assesses their suitability for hiring.
- Manages performance evaluations, behavioral management, and disciplinary processes.
- Controls costs through effective management of labor and supplies.
- Participates in continuing education meetings, committees, or workgroups, identifying personal managerial and clinical development needs and seeking resources as necessary.
