Job Description
The Cashier/FOH role is essential in delivering excellent customer service and managing front-of-house operations within a small, collaborative team. This position involves handling multiple payment methods, including mobile transactions, overseeing order processing, and maintaining a welcoming environment through cleanliness and effective complaint resolution. The role often requires working long shifts, including weekends, within a team of 1-5 people.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash, mobile, and other payment methods accurately
- Operate the POS system efficiently
- Manage front desk activities and order processing
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints promptly
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the front-of-house area
- Collaborate effectively with team members in a small team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in retail or customer service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in cash handling and POS systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Problem-solving skills and teamwork orientation
