Medical Technologist

Responsibilities Perform routine, complex or specialized bacteriological, hematological, chemical, immunological, serological and immunoassay procedures on body fluids. Communicate effectively with other care providers (physicians, nurses, business office, and medical records) to provide continuity of patient care and meet the needs of the customers we serve. Demonstrate accuracy for all testing performed. Perform related quality control and required proficiency testing according to policy and procedure. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science (MT/CLS) from an accredited institution. MT (ASCP) certification or equivalent required. Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
