Engineering Program Manager – Factory ServicesDescription -Job SummaryThis role is responsible for leading multiple project teams and managing activities of supporting teams and internal development partners, and overseeing logistics of parts for builds and prototypes. The role applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues, and leverages it to drive innovation and technology integration. The role manages project activities, develops schedules, tracks progress against the project activities and drives best practices, while leading less-experienced staff members.ResponsibilitiesActs as primary point of contact for all requests supporting Factory Services.Acts as the customer interface for all Factory Service requests, regularly communicating with customers & sales teams to ensure flawless execution of customer’s requestsManages strategic projects to allow for more efficient processesActs as team leads to gain experience/skillset in leadership activities, regularly reporting business results/strategic plans to Director/VP level leadershipManages and leads a program involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for Factory Service offeringsOversees logistics of parts for builds and prototypes and works on multiple projects, simultaneously.Develops and directs development of schedules, critical deliverables, for assigned customer requestsManages activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners; ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.Follows up on open points/actions that were observed during customer requests; ensures conveyed as actionable items.Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the manufacturing and/or engineering organization.Drives best practices through documentation control policies and procedures.Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff membersEducation & Experience RecommendedFour-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, people management, or a related field.Pay & BenefitsThe pay range for this role is $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually with additionalopportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to UnitedStates of America candidates only).
