School Administrator

Remedy, a leading education recruitment agency, is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established school in Greenwich to recruit an experienced and professional School Administrator for a full-time fixed-term rolling contract starting in October 2026 . This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and personable receptionist to join a supportive school environment where you'll play a key role as the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors and staff. The successful candidate will thrive in a busy front office, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, parents, pupils and staff, providing a warm and professional welcome. Answer and direct telephone calls, respond to emails and deal with enquiries efficiently. Manage the school's reception area, ensuring visitors are signed in and safeguarding procedures are followed. Carry out general administrative duties including filing, scanning, data entry and correspondence. Maintain accurate pupil records using the school's management information system. Support attendance administration and other day-to-day office tasks. Assist the Senior Leadership Team and wider administration team with general administrative support. Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Requirements Previous experience working as a School Receptionist or within a busy school office is essential. Experience using Arbor, SIMS or another school management system is desirable. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload. A friendly, professional and approachable manner. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one. What We Offer Full-time fixed-term rolling contract starting September 2026.
