At Ackerman Estvold Engineering and Consulting, we are seeking a Full-Time Transportation Engineer to join our onsite team in Minot, Williston, or Fargo, ND. This exciting opportunity allows you to grow professionally while directly impacting your community through civil engineering and consulting projects that enhance transportation systems. As a professional engineer (PE), you'll engage in hands-on projects utilizing OpenRoads technology and work closely with the DOT and various stakeholders.

What matters most

To thrive as a Transportation Engineer at Ackerman Estvold Engineering and Consulting, a robust set of skills and qualifications is essential. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related discipline with a strong emphasis on transportation. An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required, with the expectation of obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license within 12 months or already possessing a North Dakota PE license. Relevant experience of 3-6 years in transportation or civil engineering design and consulting is crucial, as is proficiency in design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, enabling them to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
