Relief Pharmacist (Part-Time / PRN) - Armitage Pharmacy, Logan Square, Chicago
$60 to $65 per hour, based on experience
Part-time, as-needed shifts with flexible scheduling. Option to grow into regular part-time or full-time hours.

About the Role
We need a licensed Illinois pharmacist to cover shifts on a relief (PRN) basis. You will run the pharmacy during your shift: verify and dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, supervise technicians, and keep controlled substance records in order.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely
• Counsel patients on medications, side effects, storage, and interactions
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and daily workflow
• Maintain compliance with Illinois Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and HIPAA requirements
• Handle controlled substance recordkeeping and inventory
• Give immunizations (certification preferred)
• Work with prescribers and insurance plans to resolve issues

Qualifications

• Active Illinois pharmacist license (RPh) in good standing (required)
• Pharm.D. or B.S. Pharm.
• Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred
• Immunization certification a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Reliable, patient-first, comfortable in a busy independent pharmacy
