Contract | Travel | Day Shift | 13 Weeks | Expected weekend availability of at least one Saturday per month

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services across Medical Surgical and Acute Rehabilitation units, with time likely split between both settings
• Manage a patient caseload of adults and geriatrics with diagnoses including CVA, orthopedic, and cardiac conditions
• Maintain patient ratios of 10:1 on Med Surg and 6:1 on the Acute Rehab Unit
• Document patient care and progress accurately using EPIC EHR
• Float between units as required to meet facility staffing needs
• Adhere to facility dress code standards, including black scrubs and closed-toe shoes

Required Qualifications

• Active Louisiana Occupational Therapist (OT) License
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Ability and willingness to float between units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) settings
• Prior experience in Medical Surgical settings
• Familiarity with treating CVA, orthopedic, and cardiac patient populations
