Lead HVAC Installation Technician

Mason & Grant in Auburn, NY, servicing Auburn and the surrounding areas, is looking for a full-time Lead HVAC Installation Technician to help deliver exceptional residential HVAC solutions. In this role, you'll tackle a variety of installation projects, work alongside a close-knit team, and contribute to a company built on generations of trust and craftsmanship. The starting wage begins at $25.00+ per hour regardless of experience, with experienced candidates potentially beginning under a trial period that may vary depending on available work. ABOUT THIS LEAD HVAC INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN ROLE You will be responsible for installing forced air furnaces, central air conditioning systems, ductless mini-splits, water heaters, and boiler systems in residential settings. Your work will involve advanced sheet metal fabrication techniques, along with brazing and soldering skills, to complete projects that range from equipment replacements and system upgrades to full HVAC installations in new home constructions. You will assess job site requirements, adapt to various installation scenarios, and uphold high standards of workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction. During periods of lighter installation work, you will assist with parts replacement, service work within your skill level, and shop maintenance tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the business.
