Job Title: Behavioral Healthcare Provider 1 Profession: Behavioral Healthcare Provider Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: Long-term assignment Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II (LCDC II), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III (LCDC III), Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) Certifications: BLS/CPR certification required Must-Have: Must hold valid licenses and certifications Description: Provides alcohol and drug counseling and other ancillary services to inmates on an assigned caseload. Completes intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning for inmates. Coordinates with other treatment services for the purpose of individualized treatment planning. Utilizes a coordinated treatment approach to monitor attendance and participation progress of inmates in substance abuse programs. Reviews case files and manages termination of program participation. Provides continuing care planning and intervenes in crisis situations as needed. Reviews inmate files for program admission consideration and treatment planning. Contacts chemical dependency specialists regarding inmate activities. Develops and coordinates substance abuse programming for inmates as assigned.
