Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult patients in telemetry and medical-surgical units, including monitoring ECG telemetry and responding to rhythm changes.
- Administer medications, assess patient conditions, and adjust care plans under physician and nurse leadership; document accurately in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, discharge planning, and patient education; communicate clearly during shift handoffs.
- Float to designated units per assignment, maintain competency across units, and uphold patient safety and infection control standards.
- Monitor devices and equipment, ensure proper alarm management, and escalate changes in patient status promptly.
- Uphold professional standards, comply with policies, and advocate for patient comfort, privacy, and dignity during night shifts.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (state-specific or multi-state) in good standing.
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- Ability to work night shifts and float to other units as needed.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical patient care is preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting with a focus on patient safety.
