Overview
Occupational Therapist – Acute Care specialty, traveling to a school setting in Federal Way, Washington. This assignment begins on 09/02/2026 and spans approximately 41 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluations, plans, and interventions for students in the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment goals aligned with IEPs and student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team to support participation and learning
- Perform progress documentation, outcome measurement, and mandatory record-keeping in approved systems
- Conduct screenings and deliver therapy across classrooms, therapy spaces, and related service areas
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to transition planning, and advocate for student participation and safety

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington state
- NBCOT certification or eligibility
- Experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and professionals
- Ability to work within a school setting and adhere to IEP-mandated plans
- Ability to travel to the assignment site and maintain a professional, punctual schedule
