Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working within a school setting is preferred
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, interpreting test results, and making recommendations
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, special education law, and best practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for the development of student plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student learning and emotional well-being
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEP and eligibility meetings
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students as needed
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Offer crisis intervention and consult on behavior management strategies
