Responsibilities Your Role in the Lab

• Conduct a variety of routine and complex clinical laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and additional specializationsfollowing precise protocols.
• Eagerly evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance alongside calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Document all activities diligently, mentor new team members or students, and uphold high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workspace while complying with regulations and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
