Maintenance Flex Technician

Job Details Location: 5601 Harrison Street, Omaha, NE, 68157-2190, United States Base Pay: $21.00 - $24.75 / Hour Employee Type: Seasonal Duties include, but are not limited to Perform services on teams for lawn care, mowing, and landscape maintenance. Operates a variety of equipment and tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, fertilizer carts, blowers, bed edgers, dump trailers, chainsaws, and hedge trimmers. Conduct all work in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Rotates between different crews as needs arise; must be comfortable with daily change. Measurables Safety Training Quality $21-$24.75 per hour, depending on experience Profit share, if earned Daily pay card Year-round program The Work Lab program Paid holidays Unlimited free uniforms Work boots and pants reimbursement Simple IRA company match Paid parental and bereavement leave Wellness reimbursement Reports to: Maintenance Managers Works closely with: lawn maintenance, mowing and fert teams, supply yard team, mechanic Direct reports: 0 Typical Hours: Mon-Fri, 6:30am-5:00pm, some weekends Dress Code: uniform Desired Experience and Education High school diploma or GED Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a landscaping crew member role. Strong base horticulture knowledge. Knowledge in most residential irrigation systems preferred. Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and physically have full range of motion in upper and lower body. Nebraska Pesticide Applicators License is a plus. Must possess a driver’s license, clean criminal record and have ability to pass a drug test. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus. Must be comfortable working long shifts and weekends when necessary. Summary The Flex Maintenance Technician is a professional who is proficient in all aspects of lawn mowing & landscape maintenance services. The technician’s main objective is to maintain residential and commercial properties while maintaining a safe work environment. Flex team members display a variety of skills as they fill open spots on crews for the maintenance division. You must possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
