- Provide direct patient care to hospitalized patients, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, adjusting as necessary based on patient progress.
- Perform procedures as credentialed and within scope, such as central line placement, wound care, and other bedside interventions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately in the electronic health record, adhering to regulatory and hospital standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a culture of safety and excellence.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Washington , with a certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an NP in a hospitalist, acute care, or inpatient setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and medical team members effectively.
