Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation unit requiring 2+ years of rehab nursing experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 50 beds
• Rehab Nursing IRF unit serving patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Patient ratio of 1:8
• Uses Cerner EHR system
• 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum of 2 years' rehabilitation nurse experience required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Basic computer knowledge and strong verbal and written English communication skills required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide individualized nursing care to patients undergoing physical medicine and rehabilitation programs
• Must be a cooperative team player
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Report time is 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM depending on shift
• Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
