As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in South Windsor, CT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact each shift.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policies, and assist with logging deliveries, contractors, and other authorized traffic.
- Support security-related operations by communicating clearly with staff and local responders when needed, following post orders, and completing required reports before the end of each shift.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
