Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Schedule

This position offers a 3x12 hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, requiring availability every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have the ability to float between multiple campuses as necessary to meet patient and staffing needs. Epic experience is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results, including arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory care and home therapies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current South Carolina RRT license required at the time of employment.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency; not provided by the facility.
