Job Summary
The Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse (RN) position is located in a healthcare facility and involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, critical environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients with urgent and emergent health conditions, ensuring compliance with all standards of practice and professional development.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited school of Nursing; Current New York State Registered Nurse License; BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross); ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications; 2+ years of ER experience.
• Skills: Collaboration, Communication (verbal & written), Judgement/Critical Thinking, Organizational Understanding, Planning (Organizing, Time Management), Problem Solving, Quality, Reliability, Safety and Risk Management.
• Additional Information: The RN will educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management, administer medications safely, and participate in professional development and continuous education. May perform duties related to Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator roles when assigned, and potentially assume additional responsibilities as needed.
