Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is necessary. Recommended skills include familiarity with cardiopulmonary bypass procedures, strong communication, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with the surgical team. CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) certification is preferred but not required.
