Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who has a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally with a focus on janitorial duties. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician who is passionate about maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and will have the chance to make a significant impact on our daily operations. Responsibilities: As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to: 1. Overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all facilities, including offices, production areas, and public spaces. 2. Performing regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues, including maintenance repairs, cleaning needs, and safety hazards. 3. Coordinating with management and other staff to ensure that all facilities meet health and safety standards. 4. Consulting on the planning and implementation of facility improvements and expansions. 5. Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and ensuring that all staff adhere to them. 6. Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and placing orders as necessary. 7. Training facility staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols. 8. Responding promptly to facility emergencies and disruptions, coordinating repairs and clean-ups as necessary. 9. Consulting with management on strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency related to facility management. Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally with a focus on janitorial duties. 2. Proven experience in facility maintenance and cleaning in a manufacturing or industrial environment. 3. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures. 4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively. 5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels of the organization. 7. Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment, as well as cleaning supplies and techniques. 8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a positive, can-do attitude. 9. Physical stamina and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing or walking for extended periods.
