PRN Registered Nurse (RN)

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team! If you're looking for a flexible nursing opportunity where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, we'd love to hear from you.

As a licensed Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) Personal Assistance Services (PAS) agency, we are committed to delivering exceptional non-medical care while ensuring quality, compliance, and outstanding customer service.

Position Overview

The PRN RN will provide nursing oversight and support on an as-needed basis, including client assessments, supervisory visits, caregiver education, care planning, and clinical consultation to ensure our clients receive safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Conduct nursing assessments and supervisory visits.
Develop and update individualized service plans.
Monitor client health status and communicate changes appropriately.
Educate and support caregivers on client-specific care needs.
Assist with quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Complete accurate and timely documentation.
Participate in incident investigations and clinical consultations.
Support agency compliance with Texas HHS regulations and agency policies.

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of one year of nursing experience (home care, hospice, or geriatrics preferred).
Excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
Knowledge of Texas PAS regulations is a plus.
Current CPR certification.
Reliable transportation, valid Texas driver's license, and current auto insurance.
