We are seeking a quality-focused, strategic Quality Director to join our team based in Traverse City, MI! As a Quality Director with North Arrow ABA, you’ll lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of clinical quality systems across the organization. Partnering closely with the Chief Clinical Officer and senior clinical leadership, you will drive measurable client outcomes, ensure consistency in treatment delivery, and elevate the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our clinical programs. This role combines both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership, including a small clinical caseload and direct engagement with teams across regions. Availability & Location:- Hybrid role based in Traverse City, MI, with a combination of on-site and remote work;
- Occasional travel required for site visits, audits, and regional support;

- Provide operational ownership and day-to-day oversight of clinical quality systems and initiatives in partnership with the CCO and senior clinical leadership;
- Define, track, and report on key success metrics, including clinical outcomes, treatment effectiveness, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction;
- Identify systemic and quality-related challenges and proactively implement solutions that balance effectiveness with team capacity and workload;
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve scalable quality systems that ensure consistency, accountability, and measurable outcomes across all regions;
- Oversee Autism Commission on Quality (ACQ) accreditation, ensuring ongoing compliance and successful re-accreditation;
- Conduct site visits and clinical audits as needed, including developing and monitoring corrective action plans for underperforming centers;
- Translate quality insights into actionable training, coaching, and process improvements to strengthen treatment integrity and clinical excellence;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical teams, caregivers, schools, and community partners, to support quality outcomes and brand positioning;
- Build relationships with key leaders in the Northern Michigan autism and mental health community to establish North Arrow as a quality and thought leader;
- Support initiatives aimed at improving reimbursement rates through demonstrated quality outcomes;
- Maintain a small client caseload, including supervision, family training, and assessments as needed;
- Support and model a culture of professionalism, collaboration, psychological safety, and continuous feedback;
- Champion North Arrow values of Community, Quality, Effectiveness, and Efficiency;
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- Master’s degree required;
- Current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA);
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in ABA, including treatment of individuals diagnosed with autism;
- Strong experience leading or managing clinical quality programs, systems, and outcomes tracking;
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical, actionable guidance;
- Experience with Hi-Rasmus clinical data and outcomes tracking;
- Knowledge of Michigan Medicaid and commercial payor requirements related to ABA services;
- Strong understanding of EHR systems, Google Workspace, and AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce costs;
- Proven ability to influence outcomes through collaboration rather than direct authority;
