About the Role

The Company is in search of a full-time AVP, Edge Security Engineer to join their Network & Security Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, building, and supporting enterprise-level edge infrastructure and security controls. This role requires a strong mix of security and operations experience in a fast-paced, 24/7 enterprise environment, with the ability to independently drive projects. The AVP will also be involved in developing and maintaining technical designs, documentation, and architecture artifacts that align with security and infrastructure standards. Collaboration across engineering teams, business units, and partners is essential to deliver scalable, secure solutions that protect the company's edge. Applicants for the AVP, Edge Security Engineer position at the company should have a minimum of 4 years' hands-on experience in designing, building, and supporting enterprise edge infrastructure and security controls. This includes experience with CDN platforms, enterprise monitoring platforms, global load balancing solutions, and managing enterprise DNS solutions. The role also requires experience in building infrastructure automation and a proven track record of collaborating with development teams and project managers. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, relevant security certifications, and experience with a range of security and infrastructure tools. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to drive innovation, and a client-focused, collaborative approach are key attributes for this role.
