Job Details Position: Travel Med/Surg Tele RN Employment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Start Date: 9/21/2026 End Date: 1/11/2027 Duration: 16 weeks Weekly Hours: 36 hours Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts Schedule: Day and night coverage; 3x12-hour shifts Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040 Setting: Adult Med/Surg Telemetry with oncology focus Charting System: Epic Orientation: 72 hours Float Requirement: Required to other Med/Surg Oncology units Job Requirements Active Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience in the specialty Current experience in Med/Surg Tele or a closely related acute care setting required BLS certification required Telemetry interpretation and telemetry monitoring experience required Experience with Epic charting required Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations Ability to work rotating days and nights based on unit needs Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills Previous travel RN experience preferred Oncology nursing experience preferred but not required Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care for adults and geriatrics on a medical-surgical telemetry unit Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes Support patients with a variety of medical and oncology-related diagnoses Maintain a strong focus on infection prevention and fall prevention practices Administer medications and treatments according to plan of care and facility protocols Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, effective patient outcomes Float to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed Document accurately and efficiently in Epic Deliver compassionate care to patients and families throughout treatment and recovery Apply now for this Travel Med/Surg Tele RN job in Columbus, Ohio, and join a healthcare team that values clinical excellence and compassionate care.
