Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process for assigned patients.


• Document patient history, symptoms, and care given.


• Assess and document psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.


• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for effectiveness.


• Provide education to patients and families, identifying issues and resources.


• Demonstrate leadership and delegate appropriately to manage clinical situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.


• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.


• Current RN License in Texas or compact state.


• BLS certification required (AHA only).


• Current certifications in NRP, ACLS, and Fetal Monitoring preferred.


• Completion of New Nurses Orientation and competency validations required.
