Medical Surgical Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% passing score, 2 attempts allowed. Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have at least 6 months of employment separation to be considered for a travel position. Travel-rate eligibility requires the claimed residence to match the address on the driver’s license.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Float to multiple Med Surg units across the Wichita market. Talent will call in for each scheduled shift and float to the highest-need unit and campus.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
