Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and active Michigan Special Education Teaching License is required
• Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students preferred

• Commitment to creating an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment
• Organization and flexibility, able to manage various caseloads effectively

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction to students within the special education program
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure success
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary reporting
• Engage and communicate with families to support student growth and achievement
