They are winning clients from larger firms who want better service, quicker responses and a relationship with someone who actually knows their business.

That growth is creating a real need at Manager level.

\n

\n

They have strong Seniors and experienced Partners. What they need now is additional people in the middle who can build relationships with clients, take on more responsibility and, for someone who wants it, work towards becoming a future Partner.

Not just another title change. There is the opportunity to grow your responsibilities, your influence and ultimately your earnings over time as you build towards Partner level.

The tax work itself can be shaped somewhat around where your experience and interests sit.

\n

• If you are a generalist Tax Manager, there is plenty of work across closely held businesses, S Corps, partnerships and their owners, with exposure to planning, consulting and M&A work.
\n
• If your background leans more towards high net worth individuals, trusts and estates, that side of the firm is continuing to grow too. Their clients range from retirees through to significantly high net worth individuals and families.
\n
• If you enjoy compilations and financial statements alongside tax, there is an opportunity to stay involved there as that area continues to grow across the firm.
\n

More than anything, they want someone who genuinely cares about offering a good service and likes being part of the wider picture for clients. Someone who enjoys becoming a trusted advisor rather than only focusing on compliance work.

\n

\n

You will work closely with experienced Partners, have direct exposure to clients and be involved in more than simply reviewing returns.

\n

\n

Several of the Partners here came from larger firm backgrounds and intentionally chose to build something different.

\n

\n

For someone who wants to stay in public accounting, but wants a smaller firm where there is room to grow into something bigger, there is a genuine opportunity to do that here.
